Carbon Fiber Hood Shaking at High Speeds

Hey guys, I did some searching and couldn't find anything. Do any of you with carbon fiber hoods have a problem with them vibrating at high speeds? Thanks guys!

Well... I would not describe it as a full out of control shaking. I suppose it's more of a slight to medium vibration.

It is significantly lighter than stock, so it may require more resistance to the lift created by the same high speeds as your stock hood. Have you considered hood pins?

Does your hood move at all when you go 60+ mph?

Majority of after market hoods recommend hood pins

So I've been watching the hood the past two days. It seems it really starts to move at 60+ mph, and it will wiggle more depending on the bumps in the road and the how much the wind is blowing.

Uh huh, everybody scoffs at hood pins until their hood starts shaking. Do yourself (and your car) a favor and put some pins on. it's only got to fly open once to destroy itself, the windshield and the leading edge of the roof.

If it is shaking near the windshield up at the top of the cowl, will hood pins help?
