Forums are weird

I was thinking today about how special interest forums work and it's a strange concept...especially forums about cars and other mostly men oriented hobbies.

If we were to say...not have a forum, but a club where members met up to discuss the same topics in person would we all act and speak the same? I just can't imagine 2 dozen guys in a room all sharing pictures and jumping up and down in excitement like we seem to do on the forums. It would almost seem like the female equivelent of a book club meeting or something...almost dare I say it...gay. No offense...just saying! And I am a forum crack head.

Just a funny thought...nothing more.

i do have to say, i talk to people on here just about like i do in real life. i get excited about things i love and tend to share that excitement with others! not in a gay way or anything, but by having fun and having cool conversations with other people who are just as excited as i am

I get looked at weird when I say "For The Loss" or "For The Win" in real life.

however, headshot, pwnd, and others get laughs

You don't jump around when you see new pictures here?
