Good or bad. All opinions are welcome.

I REALLY have to have the wheels to pull this off (in my mind). As soon as someone comes out with front clear corners, I'm going to put those in as well.

I am most likely going to add "THR" in CGM and "SS" in blue on the sides of the cowl. Toms vinyl guy is cutting some pieces now in the proper "font" to see how it would look. As he finishes and puts them on the cowl, if we all like it, we are going to spray it on. That'll help to tone down a little of the silver on the hood and tie it all in.

My idea is coming together slowly.....

Two questions:

1: Do you all think GFX would look good on this?
:if so, painted or stock?

2: Rear panel is currently silver (I wanted to be different). The blue bowtie will go on that with a blue SS off on the right side. Should I keep it silver and be different?....Or, do you think going with a flat black similar to the lower diffuser area would be better? The ONLY real issue that concerns me is this....when it's night and you are behind the car, will it look like a construction strip of silver?....or will it blend in nicely? If it looks contsruction(y), I'd much rather just have them spray it black and call it a day (with the blue bowtie on it, of course).

Opinions?

They are welcome!!!
I like the silver strip, but i would paint the small area between the dual tail lights. Would look more finished to me.

FYI, when we put the THR badges under Camaro we remove the GM badge at the bottom.

Let me know when you come in town. I'd be more than happy to meet up! I don't really know when it will be finished. A lot of the parts we want to put on won't be ready until August. Kinda stinks since I'd like to have it done when I take delivery. But, that'll give me something more to look forward to. I get it June 24th...papers and all. Then, we drive out to Carlisle on the 25th to set up for the show. We'll be right up at the front gate ready for the show to begin on the 26th. It's going to be a work in progress....but, I'm going to keep this area updated right here.

Gained. I saw what you are seeing and that's because the numbers on the left jump up when the lines lower (I think....pretty sure that's what you are talking about). But, no. There was a major gain.

MisterCamaro mentioned the same thing. IF I wasn't going to put the aftermarket wheels on, I'd paint what I had CGM AND possibly SIM to match. But, I am holding off....there's a special set that I want...and that set I will GET!!!

It's a possibility. I have to see it in person to decide. Tom and I are always open to suggestions. I saw the photoshop, but have to see it in person to decide if that will work. There''s no real "break" in the panels to go from CGM to SIM right there. On the center panel, there is a break area. Hard to explain.

I know nothing about 4th gens. I thought the big ES badge on the side was the model. LOL

Sweet thread!

I didn't care for the factory hockey stripes especially the hood and rear deck stripe. GM should really take note of what you have done. It looks great!
I was shocked when I saw the video at Stainless, it sounded great but shocked non the less. After reading this thread it finally dawned on me that you STILL haven't taken possession yet, you must be going crazy! Very nice job! ~ Rick
