Loudmouth 1 is too loud. What can I do.
So a few days ago I got my LM1 installed on my V6 Camaro. But, it's WAY TO LOUD. Mostly to loud in the cabin. What can I do to make it so it's not as loud in the cabin. Can I add something or should I just buy a new Axle-back exhaust.
So again, I like this exhaust but I don't like how loud it is when I'm in the car with the windows up...

a magnaflow resonated xpipe will help quiet it down.

Get a magnaflow resonated x-pipe put on, it will cut the rasp and a slight bit of drone , however it will make your set up overall quieter. Another option to kill drone is to get some J pipes put on.

Yep, that's about your only option besides getting a new setup. I swear I've seen the x-pipe for lower than that somewhere... maybe not...

Since your main complaint is with the windows up that leads me to believe you are hearing drone. The best way to offset the drone will be with a set of J-Pipes. J-Pipes will be better then an X-pipe in your case IMO.

If its anything like the MRT V2 let it season in for a couple hundred miles and see if the droning lessens enough that you can tolerate it. Then decide on either The resonated X pipe or the J pipes.

If its only at one certain rpm range then go with the J pipes, if its all the time then maybe the x pipe. Or you may end up doing both.

What would be the effect of doing both? Its mostly around 1000-3000 rpms when i get annoyed of hearing it.
