Funny part is you can order a new 2011 Mustang starting 23 november 2010 but the reveal at the L.A. Autoshow isn't till December some time.

Whats that all about?

Poor product planning if you ask me. Basically the opposite of Chevy showing off the Camaro years before you can buy one.

Meh......not really. You're talking about weeks compared to years. Everyone pretty much knows what will be in them anyways besides maybe some new interior features and such.

Everyone? you mean the hardcore enthusiast groups? Most of the general public couldn't tell you about the engine that is in the current mustang, let alone the next one.

Which is why they probably won't even know you can order on the 23rd either. Ford will have it's reveal and none will be the wiser.

Point is that that I don't agree with their strategy to hold off on a reveal.

I really don't understand what you mean? They chose the LA Autoshow for the reveal. Are you saying you wanted it sooner or something?

Right idea, wrong details. GM unveiled the Camaro in the summer of 2008 (when the released all the specs and what not) and ordering followed in October. Still, its the opposite of what Ford is doing.
