I would think differently. From your avatar it looks like you have CGM hockey stripes. Not only would the wheels perfectly accentuate those but they would also add perfect contrast to the SIM. Think about it

Keep in mind these wheels are NOT painted CGM. They are simply a tinted clearcoat (or smoked if you'd rather) that appear gray in color. They look great on CGM, but will go very well if not better with other colors as well.

Maybe some pics of the wheels alone instead of on a CGM would help a little

Okay, I've been unbelievably busy and just got the wheels reassembled today. I think you'll agree they do not look the same. The pictures are horrible thanks to zero shutter skills and bad lighting. I'll try a redo later. Here is the best I can do for now. Faces are color matched IBM and look great in person.
