Anyone else decide to wait on the 2012?

I was getting ready to finally make a move on a 2011 vert when I saw the 2012 changes announced. Being a geek, the back up camera, RS style lights, new spoiler, tweaked interior and suspension was enough to make me pull in the sails for another few months. It will give me time to accumulate more down money anyway.

I have been quietly waiting since 2009 to be able to pull the trigger on a Camaro, a few more months won't hurt.

I also have seen various threads about some of the bugs showing up in the first verts, just another reason that waiting a bit could be a good idea.

Anyone else decide to hold off for a 2012?

My wife is 5' 4" and the only real reason I am waiting for the 2012 is the 6 way power passenger seat.

Yup...the passenger seat being power and the back up camera alone seal the deal for me.

Saw the 2012 model changes at the Fest. It would be worth the wait if that's what you want, especially if they start production in mid-July '11.

Waiting 4 years was enough for me...

Yea if I hate to wait a year for a 2012 I wouldn't do it but since it is only a few months it is worth it for me.

I would wait if I you are wanting a 1LT or 2LT since it will have a new engine.

I know I am resurrecting an older thread but...does anyone have any idea when the 2012's will actually start to roll out?

???

I always thought the next model year of a vehcile comes out around September or so? Will that be different for the '12 model year of the Camaro 'vert??

Anyone have any insight?

Production starts July 18th (after they get back from shutdown. One of the few things I have in writing). The contacts I've been dealing with have the car trickling in at the dealers lots (in a best case scenario) end of August early September.
