Seems everyone asks me in PM's about it. ...don't know where to tell them to go.

I have a question about the existing door panels and trims related to this thread. I have black interior with gray panels and trim. I want the yellow versions to match the exterior of the car, but it appears GM has stopped production on them and they're on indefinite back-order for the time being. My initial thought was to have my buddy (body shop guy) paint the panels yellow for me, therefore saving $100's. However, I am now re-thinking this because I suspect the painted panels actually have a thick clear coat which allows the ABL to shine through on the edge. So, if I paint them solid, I'm afraid my ABL lighting will disappear all together - am I thinking correctly? Any input is appreciated!

First there out there, and if you paint them you will not work any more with the ABL.

We are told we are less than 30 days to be able to order the trim kits again. At this point, I would just hold on!

What would you like to order? I can help you out with the LED's and Ofer (2SSRS) can help you with the light pipes I believe.

My business is GM Parts House so please don't mention other GM vendors in my thread. Currently the ABL panels are on restriction from GM for quality control and we hope to have more soon.

Gene, I sincerely apologize. I'm a new user, don't use threads and I simply did not pay any attention to thread ownership. Again, thank you for all the information and I would like to order the LED's from you. Thanks.
