It is a beautiful car, dont get me wrong, and I dont want to seem rude but but something doesnt add up. The car only had 4 orignal miles when you bought it? How can that be? Better yet, how much did it cost? I just think you would have to assume that any car from 1969 with only 4 orignal miles would still be 100% orignal and worth a mint; and why would someone take an orignal numbers matching Camaro with only 4 miles and make it a reproduction Yenko? One would have to beleive it would be worth so much more as an orignal, numbers matching Camaro with 4 miles.

imo any true yenko in this kinda of condition with that many miles is easy worth $600,000. now my question to the op is the 427 block on it a all alumin motor? ZL1 perhaps? or is it gms factory 427 block from the 69 ss camaros?

Not to be insulting but after looking at every Camaro since I could drive. I would say it's a restoration, just look at the wiper switch chrome. I bet it had 4 miles since it was fully restored and as to why the hood is off on one side.... the restorer may have taken some shortcuts just to make a quick profit. As to being a real Yenko, only numbers can tell you that.

this is 1 of her posts --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello, I am new to the site and from what I read I know that the members here can help me out. My husband just purchased a 69 Yenko reproduction, he has always loved this car, especially the original but $$$ to much. I need some insight on books, car manuals. parts & accessories, I would love to get some reading materials for my husband and myself (l love this car). Can anyone help me out on what books to buy and where? Thank You, Dee I will be posting pics soon. |

Beings it's a restore............maybe leave it the way it is. If I was going to drive it I would put in a hurst super shifter myself. That is one change I would have to make or would suggest.
