Ok she is all cleaned up and ready for viewing
Ok so was at the dealer ALL day yesterday, everything just worked out perfect. The tow hook that was on back order came in as i was going over there.Since the splitter has to be put on at the dealer, and the front end has to come off to put the tow hook on i wanted it on 1st,obviously.So anyway here are the pictures, and thanks for all you're nice comments, and cant wait to see all of yours. Also does anyone know if i should wait til after the break in period to instal my CAI or should i do it tomorrow?

Just gorgeous. I really like the tow hook. I really might have to flip a coin between black and red when it comes time to get mine.

Thanks for the photos. The more photos I see the more I believe this thing needs to drop an inch. But I run 21's on my current car and it fills the wheel well perfectly.
Bold move with the contrasting splash guards. I am adding the ones from the zl1 on the rear and going to make some for the front along with the zl1 front canards. Oh and the tow hook sould be oem with the 1le made for the track. Great ride!! Last edited by tramtwo; 12-01-2012 at 07:05 PM. |

I agree the tow hook should be standard equipment on the 1LE,and the car is so low the splitter is exactly 7" off the ground the car looks mean in person

Those are my OEM $200.00 splash guards i bought from chevy when i bought my V6.Since i wasnt able to sell my car and had to trade it in i took everything off my car. These were shinny black which wouldnt of looked good so i wet sanded them and spray painted matte black

No i did the hood liner myself,i masked it off got engine high temp paint it took like 25 friggen coats to do,but it looks great. It was actually yellow to match what was under the hood of my V6 but just a couple coats of red.
