If the alignment shop is close just back them off a little and sneak over nice and easy then have them tighten them back down on the rack. If I remember right they are all locknuts.

Did the alignment fix your stability light?

Weclome to the ZETA and ZETA II computer integrated steering system. The same sensor that screwed up your stability control is the same sensor we use for data logging that shows up in our videos.

If the steering wheel is not on center, the stability control system reads that as counter steer due to a slide. That conflicts with other information and the system throws an error code. It is NOT a problem if the car is aligned. There is a program to relearn the center position if the computer gets confused. Most 5th Gen owners will never experience this, but if they do the fix is just an alignment away.

Hey EL Manny, have you done the bushings yet? The difference in my car was amazing...I did it all at once. Kinda makes you wish GM offered this stuff as a performance option. I really threw my car around last week and it is amazing. Took my favorite curvy hilly road in it and the CTS rental my wife has now...night and day difference. This car just begs to be driven hard in the corners!
