Camaros Invade Button Willow Race Way Track Day- 1st stage

Hey Guys,

Well i am going to start coordinating the annual event of Camaros Invade Button Willow.

First we need to set a month/year of which works the best for everyone.

Monday-Friday would cost 4,300$/day to rent the track.
4900$/day for weekends on non-premium months.

So if we get 50 people to go to the track it would only cost less than a 100$. Thats for the whole day and we would get alot of track time cause we would be the only ones using the track that day.

Event planned:

-Meet at the track and have fun!
-After go to the same hotel and have a car meet in the hotel parking lot and party all night.
-Go to sleep
-wake up and all eat breakfast at a place near by before we part ways.

Optional Events:
Cruise, Poker Tournament, Etc.

I could talk to the raceway and to a hotel close by to see if we could get a group discount rate.

This whole trip will cost no more than 200 bucks.

Less than 100$ (would be around 80-95$) for the track day.
Depending on day +/- $
Also more people that go the less it will cost.

around 40 dollars per room or less
-you could split the room with a friend making it around 20 bucks +/-

Your food and gas

That should all be around 200 bucks or less for a great trip.

I am expanding it to the whole nation, so if any of you on the east coast or central wanna join in thats fine by me.

I will try to get some sponsors for the event and some raffle giveaways as well.

Get it together.

Post up a link to a MapQuest.

Set a firm date and make others stick to it so there aren't too many chiefs running the show and you'll see if others fall in line.

Sounds fun, but you'll have to not assume anyone else knows anything at all about the circuit, how to get there, where to stay, what else there is to do if someone travels a ways to go, etc.

Dont worry, i will post everything and make sure everyone is on track. Staying at the same hotel, knowing where to go, etc.

This is just a poll to see what month people would like to go.

Does the track include instructors, pit marshalls, flagmen, and ambulance service for the $4300? You're going to need all those things.

If you've ever been to Buttonwillow in the winter, you'll know that there is a good chance of getting 'fogged-in'. Therefore, I'd suggest doing it in the summer.

You dont need instructors....

But we need to get the rest still. Will cost a bit more, but getting sponsors for the event.

It is still in the early stages of planning, only round 1 and picking the month/year that this event should be in lol.

This is not a California only meet.

Anyone willing to make the trip is more than welcome.
We need at least 50 people to be willing to pay $100 each in order to pay for the $5,000 rental fee.

If it's at a time of the year I could do it, I would for sure be willing and able since Cali isn't too far for me and I actually want to start taking road trips in my new baby

Sounds like fun!
