Embalmer - why wouldn't you use Z2 after the ZAIO and before the Z8? Doesn't the Z2 act as a polish while the Z8 is a finisher? Just curious... thanks.

I hear you! Like in my write up on here I said the same thing...the color is about as perfect as can be!

The lines of the car show so well with SIM that you truely get the the whole feel for the exactly what GM wanted!

Zaino is a great product but u can get 90% of the look with otc products but not the durability thats the downside. Ive said this before technique and correct use of your tools and product is most important above all things. With Mothers, Turtle wax and Maguires products u can get a pretty dam good look on your cars if used correctly.

You certainly could do that however the ZAIO is pretty much a replacement for the Z-2 - or at least they say it can be.

If you don't want/need to put multiple coats on the car then I'd just go ZAIO and Z-6 or Z-8 with a final Z-CS and call it good.

I will probably move to that actually...

Wow the look is great. My issue is I have the darker IBM and have the need to use quick detailers and I read that Zaino suggests not using them because it removes the product. So I have used NXT and use the ultimate detailer for maintanence. The life of NXT is much shorter than Zaino but the application was reletavely easy and it gives me a chance to spend time loving my car! This is so much better than talking about our status codes and train tracking etc.

Yes, before the first Zaino app.... this was a redo since I got my stripes redone - I did not claybar before this last application.

VERY good point!! You can get 90% of that look with the "otc" products at stores, but WITHOUT the durability!! Zaino lasts & lasts!!
