SLP exhaust, Loudmouth and Powerflo, what's the difference??
Just looking for some insight into the difference between the Loudmouth and Powerflo exhausts from SLP. There's a pretty big price difference, and the sound from the powerflo sounds better to me... Of course, because I always seem to like the most expensive option!
Anyone know what the difference in construction is??

Powerflo has real mufflers, with I think a chambered design...
The Loudmouth I has no mufflers...well I guess you could say it has bullet mufflers, but really it is a muffler delete. The Loudmouth II has larger round shape bullet mufflers, similar to a magnaflow. If you want to order, let me know! |

I was wondering what the difference between the two loudmouths were too, thanks for the explanation, makes alot more sense now! The website says they're all 3 a straight through muffler design. They must throw a ton of stuffing to neck the sound down on the powerflo mufflers, but being that they're rectangular. You can easily tell the difference between the powerflow and the loudmouths.

Does this mean the Loudmouth is significantly louder than the others? Cause I like it's sound the best, nice and clear, doesn't sound muffled at all. But I don't want to put an exhaust on that will get me kicked out of the track because the db level is too high...
