Heelhook,

Compared to stock, how much interior noise do you have when highway crusing?

Strangeman,

Very little. I don't think this exhaust is "loud" at all. That said, even with the windows rolled down, it doesn't sound all that imposing. The car sounds loudest for me when I'm warming it up in the morning. Very deep. Other than that you really only here it when your stepping on the gas. At idle (like say at a stoplight) most folks probably won't notice you had an exhaust at all.

There is a little bit of popping that occurs after accelerating hard, but I kinda like it

Cheers,

Heelhook

I just ordered the kooks headers and already have the magnaflow competition series on my car. I want the headers for horsepower but don't really want for them to be too loud. I have looked online for sound clips with the combo but no luck. I eventually want a supercharger so I need headers anyways.

GMPP exhaust

I have an SS on order and am thinking about getting the GMPP exhaust.
I’ve read opinions that it is either Corsa or Magnaflow.
The Magnaflow product #16481 description for the SS reads:

V8 6.2L 2.5in. System, Street Series, GM PERFORMANCE PACKAGE ONLY

Is this what GMPP is offering? The GM parts guy at the dealer says he does not know (or cannot tell) exactly which product GMPP is offering.
Does anyone have any experience with GMPP exhausts?
Thanks,
Ivan
