Thanks for the info. I will want to add these to the SST before something rips out.

Headed to the dealer to open a case against GM for my junk tranny that should have been replaced and not repaired when I broke the mainshaft last September.

This is the video clip of the last session at the Track Attack. Got some clear track at times and was lapping at 1:20 or less.

Well, we have the Vette totaly a part now. Were all good from the firewall back, no chassis damage. From the firewall forward is another story. Get out the sawzall and cut the chassis off from there. Hope to get the Vette on the chassis table by early next week.

Were hoping to have it back in race trim by the end of July. It's kind of like starting over again.

Just a further footnote to the DBA rotors. I just weighed one prior to putting them on the bus to El Diablo. The weight of one rotor is 21.8 LBS. Once El Diablo does the swap I'll get him to weigh the stock rotor.

No not yet. 2-step and line lock are on hold til I get the tranny issues sorted out. My re-build tranny has a input bearing tearing it self apart. Will be going back to dealer soon and they will be pushing for a re-placement, since it has already been overhauled once.

There is really nothing to it, except mounting the micro switch to clutch peadal assembly. I plan to remove the drivers seat to gain access to work on it. You will need the micro swith from NOS.

Sorry I can't help you yet, but once I install it I will post pic's

Don't worry Bud. I know it's been done before, but nobody has posted pic's yet. You have to install a micro switch of some sort to make it work. I chose the NOS one because it is adjustable which is a must. Soon as the tranny issues are sorted out, the line lock goes in. Just don't want to explain the line lock to the dealer.

I'll PM once it done.

Just finished installing red led lights in the engine bay on the valance over engine cover. Wired to the same switch as the footwell lighting. Not really into that kind of bling..............but should make the engine bay pop in low light. Will take some pic's later when it's dark.
