launch control with manual?
has anyone with the manual tried the launch control on the SS?
how does it react, does it spin the wheels or does it do a smooth launch? I saw that one person almost burned his clutch, but has anyone else tried?

I'm too nervous to try it on my new engine. Maybe after 500 miles and an oil change I'll try it in a parking lot...

thought you may be interested in this excerpt from the R&T first impressions 3/09: An interesting aspect of the new Camaro is Chevy's Launch Control, which functions when the stability system is set to its Competitive Driving mode. Launch Control manages wheelspin in 1st gear, as you keep the throttle pinned. Of note, we achieved quicker acceleration times managing wheelspin ourselves.

Waiting unitl I hit the 500 mile mark, maybe even 1000 miles.
