If you spend any time over on C6 ZO6 forum you see they all drop EX. Valves and GM has no fix.

Most of our group has C6 Z06. One of our members has one of the highest mileage Z06's in the country. None of them have ever dropped an exhaust valve. The LS7 is a great engine. |

I think it can be a good motor if you take the time to pull the heads and make them right .

Have LS7 engines been known to drop an exhaust valve, yes. Have all LS7's dropped an exhaust valve, NO! Are there people on CF.com that have attested to a valve drop, yes. Now compare that to all of the LS7 engines out there. All LS7s have not dropped an exhaust valve. You made a very general, blanket statemnt and two of us called you on it. Have a good day. |

Ok will not talk about the list of over 200 people on one forum that pull have there heads some with a little as 5,000 miles on them that have found their guilds were shot and had to redo there heads . Every one who on that list had not pull and check there head would have ended up on the I drop a valve list. So you just keep on thinking its a little problem I disagree .
