How long to wait to wax after paint repairs
I just had to have my whole drivers side repainted because some a-hole thought it would be entertaining to him to key my entire drivers side while I was at the store.
How long should I wait before I polish and wax it? |

Probably best to ask the shop that did your repair. They would know best.

This. It does vary between painters, but typically it's 30 - 60 days.

ask the body shop but in most cases around 2 months to fully cure

Do what your painter says. 60 days is typical, some more and some less depending on where you live and the type of paint/clear that was sprayed.

They told me 30 days or when the water stops beading on the new clear.

However, it was on average 95-105 degrees here the last 30 days, so I am sure that speeds up the process
