I prefer to de-badge mine. Clean it up a bit. Small details make a big difference. I still have the bowties and SS emblems, but the bowties are real CF and the SS are both black.

I like the Camaro letters spelled out on the front fenders. It fills a rather large void on the body in that area. I don't mind the bowties either, but I blacked mine out.

It doesn't bother me one bit on someone else's car because it's none of my damn business.

My car? I prefer to keep my badges. Especially since I have an early model year 2010 that has the GM chicklets AND the GM Performance Division badge under the hood.

I may eventually swap out my SS badges for black filled versions, but I will not be removing anything from my car.

Removing the badges is one of the reasons for CAMERO. Some people need a reminder.

That is one of my pet peeves. I shouldn't let something like that get to me, but that pisses me off more than when someone asks if my car is a Mustang.

I`m fine with the factory badging, it`s all the extra badging people stick on that I don`t care for.

The day I left the dealer with my '10 SS I drove straight to my body shop and added the SS
emblems below the fender CAMARO name which I had per ordered. Also i would never
remove the Chicklets on the lower fenders. They are now unique to the early build 5th
Gens and a badge of honor for ordering my Camaro back in the Summer of '09.
It's your car so you should do what you want.

I don't get the whole de-badging thing but I'm not going to ridicule somebody for it,to make them feel bad for doing so

It is personal choice. I just don't get it. Unless you constantly like people asking what it is. Just not for me

When I bought my Camaro I added the small red SS badges below the Camaro on the front fenders. But then I decided to clean up the sides and took both badges off. I have the Sparks Restorations red billet emblems on the center front (Heritage grille) and the center rear. There's no mistaking my car is an SS.

One day I was in a drive-up food line when I noticed a 20-something chick eye-balling my car. She walked around it looking for a badge to tell her what kind of car it was. Not finding one she shrugged her shoulders and got into a car with her mother. It's not my job to educate the ignorant about cars LOL.

I bought my car used, badges were already removed when I got it. I like the clean look.

I shaved mine and switched the red ss emblems for white, red doesn't look good on my pink/purple camaro 😁
