5th Gen Gets Magnacharged 554RWHP

Jerry has been rolling with his stock 5th Gen for about a year now but decided it was time to make the trip to MTI Racing for some upgrades.

Jerry's Camaro is now a Fire Breathing Monster with 554HP at the tire, that is 651HP at the crank and is a 205hp gain over stock. This Monster Camaro also has 528LBS of torque at the rear tire. I think Jerry will be needing some new tires shortly. Check the list of goods below.

Magnacharger TVS2300 Camaro Supercharger
MTI Racing Stage 2 Camshaft and valvetrain Upgrade
Camaro Long Tube Headers, high-flow cats, x-pipe
Katech C5R Z chain
LS7 Bowtie Damper
MTI Racing plug wires
DMH exhaust cutouts, low profile
MTI Racing Lowering Springs and Swaybar combination for Camaro
Aluminum Catch can/ vent tank
Low Temp Thermostat 100228
MTI Racing tuning

Baseline 349hp
After mods 554hp
That’s an increase of 205hp at the rear tires!! BAM!!

Jerry and his son with their 554RWHP Camaro.

MTI,

My Dad and I absolutely love this car!! It's amazing how much quicker it climbs up in speed. It will absolutely pin you in your seat!! The DMH Cut-Outs just set it over the top, it's amazing to see people's reactions when we pull into somewhere with them fully open and they turn to expect an old muscle car but see this.

Thanks for the hookup with my car also!! I love it and it will be coming to see you guys in the near future to get "juiced" up.

Thanks again, we hope to see you guys next summer to add a little more to it

EDIT: The only mods the car had when we dropped it off was, Borla S-Type Axle Back Exhaust and a CAI, but MTI switched it out with there CAI system. This car is a GREAT improvement over stock!!

Now I need to update my sig..........don't know if there will be enough room to put all the mods...

Thanks MTI for a great build!

Well congrats. I bet you love it.

Mines at Vengeance right now. I already had the Maggie but they are doing a cam. I'm hoping for around the same numbers but with yours being a M6 I might need to lower my expectations.

I bet it's a night and day difference.

night and day may be an understatement. Performance gain is huge. (and the cutouts are just plain FUN to mess with people...)

I'd do cut-outs but I'm extending myself as it is.

Can't wait to hear them.
