let me ask you guys something when i shut my car off and get out of it. my door will open with no problem but when the passager pulls on the door handel to get out the door will not open on the first try but on the second try then the door will open. is this normal anyone else have this issue.

It MIGHT be....

That if the door is locked, you have to give it two pulls to unlock the door. This is part of a child safety feature. If that's what's happening, there should be an option in the DIC to automatically unlock the doors when you put it in park, or shut off.

yes that is what is happing when i put the car in drive my doors will lock on there on and when i get to were i am going i just pull on my door handel andmy door will open but the passage will have to pull 2 times for the door to open. so u are saying there is a setting in the car settings on the radio

No, in the Driver's Information Center, that little screen between the gauges. Use the menu stalk to navigate through the menus and change that option (or see if it's already set).

i thought you only change something like that on the car setting on the radio. what will it say. and have you change it as well

Well....I don't yet own one of these beauties, yet. So I'm not 100% sure.

I thought all the vehicle controls/locks/lights were configurable through the DIC. Maybe I was wrong, though...

Check the owners manual. Look for anything about locks. It'll tell you where the setting is and how to change it.

yes that is it i just look at the manuel my self i have it set to driver door not all doors i will change it tommrow thank you so much. are you getting a camaro anytime soon

While you're at it you can change the door lock feedback to not beep the horn everytime you lock the car. You can always press 'lock' twice to get a horn beep, but most times you don't need it.

I'm glad you got it all taken care of!

Soon enough. I'm waiting for the big one....Le Z28. Depending on price, etc...that'll be about the time I buy. All you guys around here are driving me crazy, though.
