Yeah I did. Lets say I wasn't careful with the cuts. What're my other options lol... Basically the shop has to be careful and then I'll go and get them welded back on when I return the car.

They make a sleeve that will butt up two pipes. The ends of the tubing just have to be somewhat straight though.
