Not sure I agree......I installed my Corsa and later added the CAI and it is a deeper - louder sound with the CAI, especially at WOT! No headers yet though.

My Corsa sounded good with stock airbox. Now with the K&N intake kit it sounds rough and buzz when you go WOT in high rpms. I was thinking LT headers or mid pipes might smooth out the sound some. But don't want it too loud. The CAI intake did make the car sound different inside and not in a pleasant way.

don't know if the CAI is conclusive or not but it certainly wont make it quieter so that's always a good addition (not to mention the performance). Headers are a must, the cats gotta GO, and then any aggressive rear section like the SW retro chambered (or a delete kit). Throw a hard choppin cam in the mix and you will be crowned king hillbilly in no time!

If you want to make your car louder do what I did and remove the resonators off the corsa exhaust get headers and put back the corsa mufflers so there isn't any drone and get rid of the cats and wow its loud!

Corsa can be both the quietest and the loudest catback depending on your mods.

- Stock car with Corsa = very quiet.
- Add headers and the sound is exponentially louder.
- Add cam and it's one of the loudest systems out there.

I just woke up my entire neighborhood with Corsa this morning at 3:30am...

Yes... here's a video I did a long time ago with just headers. CGM car has Corsa. It actually clips the mic

Sound clips are best when the test car is driving / engine is under load. My muffler delete (only exhaust mod) is great, but quiet with normal driving due to automatic trans. Paddle shifting and WOT makes people turn around - especially in the neighborhood. :-)

That's what I did. My NOWEEDS came in today! My setup is already loud but I want it louder.

The previous owner of my '10 SS installed the Corsa catback. It's really quiet. On the advice of members here I'll give it a chance to wake up with some LTs before switching out for something else.

Can you guys suggest ways for me to make it louder? Not a little but a lot!

I'm also getting an AFM delete this weekend.

Thanks
Get a cam and long tube headers with your L99 Corsa system. I love this on my Camaro. Sounds reasonable at highway cruise but sounds like standing trackside at a nascar race at full throttle.

If you want more noise without the above get some high flow cats, try removing the rear two cats, or just delete all 4 cats. The cats are what really make it quiet. Any of what I suggested will wake it up. Read up on users who add solo high flow cats and comment on what it does to the volume of their exhaust.

I put a Corsa sport system on my Yukon. I was disappointed with how quiet it was- especially compared to the Camaro. I removed the rear cat and it helped the system wake up a lot. It has a much healthier growl now.

My brother replaced the factory cats on his truck with some Kooks green high flow cats and it made his exhaust significantly louder. So cats will solve your problem.
