Is Catch Can breather cap needed?

I am about to purchase a RX Catch Can for my LFX V6, and I noticed on the order page that a breather cap is offered for $39 more.

Is it needed with a catch can install?
Does it help with "catching" stuff?
Does this take the place of the oil fill cap?

Any info (pics) would be appreciated.

TIA

Perhaps this thread may help you: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...s+breather+cap

I didn't opt for one when I got my can.

Thanks for the reply PalmerGA, but I'm still unclear.

Does this take the place of the oil fill cap?

Does someone have a picture installed?

Sorry if these are dumb questions, just trying to understand

Thanks for digging that up, Monchy. I may have to rethink my decision to not buy the breather when I got my CAI.
