ported throttle body

installed a vmax ported throttle body today on my camaro, all i can say is WOW, i dont care too much for the horsepower gains, but my car sounds so much nicer, i didnt think it was possible to sound better than it already was. took all of 20 minutes to install and that included me dropping one of the screws going to the hardware store to get a new screw. im not sure whether to just finish the performance next with the high flow cats and a tune or to work on some visuals, such as a new head unit, 4 pack gauges, and lowering it

got the throttle body from apex, amazing customer service, really fast delivery

I don't remember any change in sound from installing mine, nor did I expect/get/notice any HP gain, but it sure made throttle response a lot smoother.

everyone knows what the LS looked like stock. with the steel wheels and all.. pretty much what ive done to it so far with the year i had it, is a K&N cold air intake, vmax throttle body, pacesetter catback exhaust, kenwood subwoofer, RX catch can, tinted the windows, smoked the taillights, put the SS wheels on it, lights in the footwell and lights inside the shifter and put in fog lights and black out the bowties on both the front and the back

I only ask that because as an airplane mechanic we have to find ANYTHING that is "lost," and it really sucks sometimes.... But we always find it of course! Don't want you guys being afraid to fly

I try to do the same on my car just in case, never know what a lost bolt could do rolling around in an engine bay.
