2010 LS3 Torq 750 package - Whipple, Cam, Kooks!

Here is another build we recently completed, Andersons blacked out 2010 LS3!

Andersons street driven 2010 SS came to us with an intake and a Borla cat-back with a need for speed, and we put together our 750 package with a few nice add-ons! With the usual crazy temps and humidity down here we still managed a nice 615rwhp and 515rwtq, that's a gain of almost 250rwhp over stock
  • Whipple Supercharger 2.9L
  • Roto-Fab Whipple Kit
  • Kooks 1 7/8" Long Tube Headers with cats
  • MBRP 3" Cat-back
  • Torq Custom Grind Camshaft and Valvetrain Upgrade
  • LPE Dual Pump Fuel system
  • Prototype Canton Intercooler Reservoir

But with all that power we wanted to make sure the car would hook up and stay on the road, so we also installed:
  • Pfadt Racing Swaybars
  • Pfadt Racing Trailing Arm
  • Pfadt Racing Toe Tod
  • MGW Short Throw Shifter

And finally to top that off we went with a set of 4.10 gears! Now she is really gets up and goes! The cam sounds amazing, and the power curve of this car is sick.

Video of this awesome sounding beast!

Thanks for watching!

/Erik

We will be once we get the finished items in stock, should be about 2 weeks until everything is said and done. Keep a lookout for when we post the thread about them!

They will be a great option for these cars, and they will have a cap large enough to throw some ice in there when at the track.

Can't wait to install my Whipple. Curious though, why is the torque so much lower than the horsepower?

Well, essentially the question is "Why is the HP so much higher then the torque?". Reason why is that torque is actually measured, and HP is simply calculated and a result of the actual torque.

In short, it has to do with the characteristics of the motor vs powder adder, and the direct correlation between Torque and HP.

The car made 615rwhp due to heat and timing being pulled to protect the engine.....this is our 750HP kit, which is about 630RWHP and I can assure anyone that with some better temps she will make well above 630RWHP ;-)....

View another one of our recent 750 builds, which made 655rwhp. Basically the same setup:
