Had mine in for two weeks now. I used a vacuum pump to get the air out of the line like in the gm service manual. I took maybe 30 min to get the air out. Driving impressions. On my car i got one grind out of twenty attempts. Before the install I did the same exact test on the same road after tranny was up to temp on both tests and I got six grinds out of the first ten then quit testing. In my case I am very happy with doing this. Thanks Ideal

finally got mine in along with a GTO reservoir.

My 2nd gear grind only occurred during high rev shifts, this seems to have made the situation much better. I get a tiny crunch once in a while, but nothing like it did before the swap. My engage point stayed about the same and I noticed cold shifting also improved overall.

Good job Jerry.......

Hey all, as an FYI, in February of 2012, they came out with an updated M6 tranny that has carbon synco's and definitely other improvements as well. The field engineer picked up a tranny right off the line in Oshawa and brought it to my dealer. I have had it back with the brand new tranny since Thursday, and there has been huge improvements. Gearing down is easy, with little or no resistance.

NO GRINDING AT ALL.

They have yet to change any part numbers yet. I think they are verifying it has been fixed before the numbers get changed.
