Yeah that's what I'm laughing about. Makes an easy job a little difficult

As a former airline mechanic, I happily wait for mechanical delays. I'm happy to let them take the time to fix it. Pulling off to the shoulder isn't available at 30,000 feet

Really? Why would you increase it if you didn't have to?

typically there is a cost increase with a lower deductible. Most people look for the happy medium, since insurance is really just "in case this happens" vs. "you are definitely going to pay this deductible sometime".

Any of you guys have a used double din head unit with USB and 3.5mm input in the face that they want to sale?

My boy wants to upgrade his factory radio in his 2004 S10 Blazer and was looking at some POS Dual $29 head unit, I stopped him and insisted that I pitch in some money and try to get into something with BT hands free calling, maybe able to support a back up camera, and be a keeper for him even beyond the blazers likely short life.

Let me know. I'm willing to go out to about $300 on the high side.

I agree and I know. I'm just saying, if you can swing for the $0 deductible and it doesn't hurt you finanically, why not do it? Its entirely a personal point of view thing. I"m just saying.

Especially with all the deer out here...$0 comp is essential.

Because the difference between the $0 and $250 or $500 can still be rather significant. Even if it is $10-20/mo, thats $10-20/mo I could use for an investment instead of pissing it away.

I could do a lot of better things with $120-240/year then just hand it over to an insurance company "in case something happens".

So unless you plan on getting into a wreck once a year, be my guest.

How often have you hit a deer?

I have $500 deduct for collision, and $100 for comp.,but with me working at a dealership, and knowing all the body guys I do,the chances of me ever having to pay either one are slim
