The headers and gears turn the 3.7 into a beast. I installed the new tires on the rear for Friday when we go to the track. Couldn't wait though and decided to do a test hit, they still spin in second gear. It isn't as bad and is controllable, but still spinning. Looks like your shorties traded top end power for low end. Also, we have BMR LCA's, so no wheel hop for us.

Not sure i really lost much, if anything up top... was a bit more of headwind this last vist... Will find out for sure on Saturday... putting the car back on the dyno Saturday! WOOHOO!

I had very small amount of wheel hop... went back to the track on Sunday and had none... must have prepped a bit better Sunday...

BTW... ending up winning the trophy bracket on Friday and Sunday! This car is STUPID CONSISTENT!!!

She got into the 13's, new tires worked. DA was 3000, so corrected she ran a 13.195 @ 107.132 MPH if you consider her car stock to mildly modified.

And yes, those are some solid runs for sure!

DAs here have been 2000 to 2500... so i'm looking at about a 13.3 come Fall.. Current mods are BBK shorties, MRT axle back, 3.55 gears and tune.. on all season street tires...

Video's from last night, finally done editing it. We only raced 3 times but I have 7 clips. 1 from the stands, 6 from the cars. The GoPro Hero Black 3+ is a lot better quality than the Silver 3.

Wait till you put some wide summer's on. That was a good investment I made for her car. She went to a car show the next day, car hadn't been washed in a month, mismatched wheels, drag racing number on the side still and she got 2nd place. Guess guys like girls who race.

Got me a new toy, but will still be racing my Camaro V6 against her Mustang V6. Felt the 2014 Mustang was perfect, didn't want to regret not getting one when I could. 2014 Mustang GT Premium w/ Brembo Package.

Just intake and exhaust, maybe a tune to help with the transmission. I don't want to go into the depth I did with the Camaro, constantly tinkering with it to get more speed.

The car is pretty fun stock, but I know a tune will really wake it up. I want to keep the 3.15 gears though since this is my daily driver.

I thought tunes for the V6 cars didn't really do much?

tune, exhaust, intake is good for low 12's high 11's...nice nice.
