BBK LT's VS. MACE Eng. bundle...

Hey guys, I'm needing a little input on which mod would be the best bang for the buck.
I am very interested in the BBK Long tubes...not looking forward to the dreaded CEL though...
I've also heard some great things about the MACE ported IM, spacer, & insulator.
I'm just torn on which one I should go with...I would like to hear some input regarding both. Testimonials appreciated

I've never tried both in my car but I love the MACE package. Do you mean the ported im, insulator, and plenum spacer?

I haven't done the plenum spacer because I haven't heard of any gains with it and a lot of people were having trouble installing it.

Having said that, the mace ported IM and the 25mm Insulator is a great bang for the buck. I think you might get more out of that than the BBK headers.

Highly recommend ported IM and 25mm spacer combo! Can feel the power difference.

Thanks man! I've heard nothing but great things about that combo!
What exactly is the gasket matching option & is it nessecary?

It's not necessary but opens up the IM to flow with the holes in the spacers. It's said to help but idk if its dyno tested to be better. Doesn't hurt tho lol works best if you port the heads to match the spacers as well

The gasket matching is really only if you're going to port the heads. I wasn't going to mess with my heads so I didn't get it. Even then, who knows how much more gain you'd have. I'm sure it wouldn't be enough where you felt the difference.

Mace combo for sure !!

Headers will kick on high RPM and will add a higher tone to you exhaust. But will need a tune to remove the CEL.

MACE will put a smile on your face. It kicks all over the RPM and gives you a power that you really feel.
