Just glad you detailed the 'fully blown' for $13K. My answer was a lot different before I saw that.

Yes they are, but I can't picture myself buying anything else. My cars and trucks have to be chevy and my bikes have to be harleys. Whipple sounds like a good idea.

If it were me I'd use it for basic mods, and save the rest.
I've had a sport bike and I loved the hell out of it. Part of me says do that- but they're dangerous, and eat through tires even faster than these cars... Mod the car. |

altho my better half rode bikes for most of his life, and I like riding as well, we talked it over because traffic around here has gotten worse and worse, and it seems in the last couple years more and more people are dying on their bikes, even when they weren't in the wrong. We decided to get rid of the Dyna Glide and buy the Camaro. Still a sharp vehicle, safer, fun to drive as well, and we can even talk to each other while we're riding...
And we love modding the car, too! |

I sold my Gixxer 750 for more $$$ down on my Camaro, so you can guess my answer... But I'd go with a Maggie.
On another note... If this is your first bike, steer clear of any sportbike bigger than a 600. R-Type bikes are practically race-ready nowadays. Take your time and learn on a smaller bike to keep from becoming a smear on the highway.

Why does everyone want to put 100 lbs in the nose of a car that is already way too heavy?
I'd build an awesome NA motor and do some suspension work. That would be way more enjoyable than making it even more nose-heavy. |
