Pulled up next to an Audi R8!

I was on my way home tonight when I was stopped at a red. A metallic blue Audi R8 was to the right of me in a transition lane that had to merge into my lane in about 200 yards.

I'm not familiar with these Audis, as they are about 7 times more expensive than my camaro. Let's just say he was a little surprised when he had to merge behind me. I'm not saying I was in the faster car, but he didn't get his $200,000 worth of car, cash to performance was a victory for me.

My bow tie is not marked, and pretty much has been completey bolted up with upgraded suspension. That Audi was a neat looking car. Not sure if it was the V10 or lesser model. I think he was shocked he couldn't clear enough room to make the transition in front of me..

It was weird, I thought it was a ricer based on its size. It looked like it had one tire on the back the whole with of the car...

V8 R8s are slowww. V10 is the only one worth buying IMO. Funny though, I spanked a Camaro in my S6 tonight.

I have no idea which model it was. I was surprised based on the looks it wasn't faster though.

Yeah the 4.2 is pretty disappointing. On the other hand, most people don't expect my stock daily driver 4 door to have a twin turbo V8.

Ya, I have a Turbo Ford Flex that surprises a lot of people. Imagine when you sports car gets smoked by a Ford Flex. Funny to see the expressions

R8's are fantastic cars. The newer V10's are killer but the few up here are owned by people who don't want (or know how) to tap their full potential.

Guessing those gears really helped too-
Think those R8s are a high 12sec car. So if you got the jump on him I see you coming out with the W.

I don't know about 200k for a R8 as the dealers here ask 135k. The front fender should have a V10 badge for models so equipped..Not a fan of those because the mug is Audi-ugly. As far as exhaust tone goes they aren't even close to the beautiful sound that comes from Jag F-type pipes.
