For a guy, it ain't worth it

Honestly, don't go on a diet but make sure you know what you are eating and hit the weights

You'll lose fat but the muscles will grow and it works, so you'll bulk up while losing fat if you know what you're doing

I will be starting P90X any day now (waiting on mail). A friend of mine did it awhile back, went from a 260 fat slob to a 190 solid muscle force. I am looking to bulk back up. I weighed 195 graduating highschool in '05 now I weigh 155 I want to get back to where I was.

Bonnie did P90X for a while. She hated the Yoga part. It'll be worth it. Good luck.

I took an interest in some of this stuff. I didn't find the yoga beneficial, but the rest of it is very good. Why start in a few weeks what you can start now?

I would love to do it but I don't have the time to do it for an hour a day for 90 days. A friend is doing it and he said the first 2-3 days for butt kickers but after that, he has gotten used to it.

What did you do for the pull up bar?

we got flimsy doors n wall, no way it would support one of them leverage hung kind, id have to put 2-4 lags per side into celing joist to feel comfy.

Had a hanging chair hung up once, lasted a few month with 1 big lag eye hook and folks being easy n and out of it.

Was funny when it let lose, the look on someones face when they fall, even a ft is priceless. Might as well been 500ft

I'm on my 3rd week and I'm doing everything by the book supplements, diet and rest and I can see the changes. I did my first two days. Like my Drill Sergeant use to say in the Army SUCK IT UP AND DRIVE ON.

Been doing it since last year. Stick with it , it is worth it. I am not strict enough to follow the diet and sometimes I have to short time a few workouts, but I would bet I am close to the best shape of my life.

After looking at this, I'm starting to get interested. I've put on some pounds after leaving the Marines a couple years ago (all beer and very little exercise will do that! ), really want to get back to the shape I was in while I was active
