Oh Baby, we have to talk next week.
I am tired of the noisy spherical end links!

End link question

Can you explain why one pair of the endlink ball joints have "flats" at the base of the stud and the other pair do not? I see that both pairs have the allen socket in the bolt end to hold the stud when installing the locknut. Which pair is top and which is the bottom?

Flyer,
The larger of the two studs goes to the sway bar and the smaller goes to the strut. I used an allen wrench to hold the stud from spinning. BIG difference over stock!!!

Hey Rob,
I'm pretty sure mine are the same size, I double check when I get home from work. I got XAs and sways at the same time. Do the XAs take a bigger stud?

they should be different, the ones posted are for the Supercar Coilovers, and are different from the Standard Xa coilovers. But i'm 99% sure they are still different sizes, though they are close in size so it's hard to tell.

edit to what i posted above,
do you have the end links that look like the ones pictured, or the older ones (#424218)?

They look like the ones above. I'll have to look at them closer when I get home, but when I replied to this post last night I was pretty sure the the studs were the same size.

You are right, they are close but look to be 10 & 12mm. Both sets, PDCAMENDR110 & PDCAMEND1210 have a pair of each. The smaller stud is for the strut I take it?
