HELL NO, I know to quit while i am ahead ( oh and track was closing )
made 4 runs total 1st run no cool down, right off the highway, tried to slip launch at 5000 rpm , smoked the clutch to a 13.3 2nd run 30 min cool down, was baby launch at 2000 rpm ( was worried about the clutch ), bogged to a 13.1 3rd was another hot run, I tried the GM launch control ( IT SUCKS ) ran 13.7 4th run car had a long cool down ( waiting for track cleanup ), launched at about 3000rpm and ran 12.87 way to run fast in a new camaro is letting it cool for at least 30-40 minutes with the hood up and launch in the 2500-3500 rpm range, and dont let off the gas when you shift :-) I truely believe that someone will go 12.7's or faster with a bone stock ss on the stock tires, to bad it wont be me ( converting to e85 now ) |

I'm much happier to see the new camaros run so much better. I knew deep down it was a matter of time and driver's experience. There's no way the new Camaro would come back out as a strong fat kid lol

Guys, please don't flood the challenger forum and incite any further arguments. Last thing we want is for trolls to start retaliating here. Thanks.
