Roto-fab installed

My initial impression of the intake is very impressed. I know there are a bunch of CAI threads already but I thought they deserved a shout out. The build quality, instructions, and appearance are all top-notch. I would recommend this one to anybody wanting to improve the sound and power of a ZL1... and maybe even gas mileage. 700 miles on the clock, mod #1 is done.

Thank you very much for taking the time to post your comments. We already have quite a few ZL1 customers here on C5, but I'm sure many more are waiting for more opinions from you guys before making their choice.

Looks nice!
How long did it take to install?
How hard for a novice to install? I can't find the installation instructions at their website - I only found instructions for the Pontiac.

Fantastic! I run roto-fab on my own car and always steer people towards them. The fit and finish is fantastic and the performance results back it up!!

Easy install. Only thing I did different than instructions was to not unplug maf, just unscrewed it. Can hear the blower very well. Makes the car sound much better going through the gears. Have not pushed it hard yet to check performance, this 1500 mile break in is tuff. I will be dynoing soon. Tim

I'll most likely be going with this mod and company here soon! What are some of the prices you guys are paying? Gas mileage also improves slightly from an intake, that I didn't know.

Awesome! Our ZL1 intake is available for $399.95 with black duct work or $549.95 for the same intake with the carbon fiber finish on the tubes. With both versions you get a high gloss black air box. Other air box colors are available as well as red or yellow hose couplers. (at additional cost)
You can order through one of our reputable dealers on this forum and save a few bucks!

Now you mention that! I called and placed my order directly on the phone yesterday. Just waiting to get my ZL1 back from the dealer for a leaking rear end now.
