Fuel in V6?
So i was wondering with all the talk about the V8 and premium fuel, If I put premium in the V6 would I increase fuel mileage and get more performance. Or would I just be wasting money, also would it be bad for the engine?

The V6 is designed to run optimally on regular gas, so yeah you'd be wasting your money fueling it up with premium. The V8 on the other hand pretty much needs premium if you want it to run well.

I think if you do the math, You will not be saving any money and the performance gain will not be noticable. At $2.43 for reg at 20 mpg is about 12 cents a mile. so if you were to get 25 mpg on mid grade at $2.63 that works out to 10 cent a mile. That's if my math is right. I don't think you'll get a 5 mpg jump by upgrading the gas. You may want to look into gettiing a CAI system.

Waste of money. Performance probably won't increase, because the ECU won't adjust timing for a higher octane. Not necessarily bad for the engine...
