What is the procedure for powder coating? Is it simply taking off the old calipers and then powder coating it and then putting it back on? Or do the calipers have to be disassembled? Looks great by the way!

Disassemble clean/sand blast/clean/coat/cook/cool. Reassemble with new seals and boots and reinstall.

Those look amazing. Is it a translucent red paint? How did you get the lettering black?

Silver metallic base coat, lollypop red tinted clear top coat over black vinyl decal. We do basic colors with vinyl decals, custom colors in base coat and use decals as stencils.
Olblue is correct.
It is actually a lot of work for each set by the time they are done.
Clean, chemical strip if already coated, sandblast, disassemble, clean, outgas aluminum calipers for a hr, mask, clean, coat, apply decals, clear, rebuild, package, ship....
We try to do 3-5 sets of similar colors at the same time to make better use of our small oven and get through the orders in a decent time.

I can't get over how good a job you did. What would you charge if I pulled mine and shipped them to you? How long to turn them around? This could be a winter project.

It is $350.00. Turnaround time is around 4 days. We also have cores almost always in stock to send to you first with a security deposit.
Thanks,
Kevin

How close do you think the color is in person? Looks a bit bright. I'm sure pictures don't do it any justice. I'm looking to do this

It's not a perfect match, when the car is clean is a little closer match. But a man running for logos life will never notice it!

Kevin done the very same color on my Brembo's. I am running them on my Ashen Gray Metallic Camaro, really like the looks behind the 21" wheels.

The amount of work and time that goes into "properly" preparing, coating and then rebuilding a set of Brembo brakes your so far better off sending them to someone that knows what they are doing. TPH does a fantastic job, thanks again Kevin.
