Got hit with a lemon - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

So last we were driving around with the under glow on and got tons of compliments and a guy asked us to install it on his car, anyways we were in our neighbor hood and heard a loud THUD we wrote it off as a bump or something but come to find out it was a lemon! People have such an imagination, what are some of your horror story and by the way it was only little fragments not a peel or anything and I wiped it off really fast because I didn't want it to sit on the paint any longer than it had. Just got this car and already being attacked... What lies ahead, do you guys have any stories like this?

So far I've been hand washing my car every sunny weekend.

Last weekend I noticed egg on the front fascia. Luckily I got that off without damaging the paint. I've also noticed water dumped on the hood.

I don't understand why people must deface others property. Envy is not a reason to. I would never do that to another. Heck a Lamborghini drove by while I was hand washing and I stopped looked and thought to myself that one hell of a nice car then looked back and my Camaro and perma-grinned at the reality that I got my own dream car.

I don't care what others think of me because I have this car. Thing is I'm working my ass off to pay for the thing 2x the payment every time so far so I can pay it off faster.

In the end though it doesn't matter about these other people we all got our cars for ourselves.

Most of the time when I'm stopped and have my windows down others begin to strike a conversation with me.

The last guy commented on the color and beauty of the car and I replied thank you it's taking most of my pay but It's well worth it.

He replied back well you can't take it with you (money) so enjoy.
