1.25" lowering with 22's?
I want to lower my 2ss with 1.25" drop springs and put on 22" rims. What width and offset should the rims have to safely do this?
And how wide tires could I run? Is it best to stop at 295 in the back or could I go all the way to 315? Thanks! |

These cars look great with 22" and a 1.25 inch drop. Here is a gallery of a few cars equipped with our drop springs and 22".

22's with a 315 rear tire and dropped 1.25 inches. No problems. You can do it yourself. I just recommend an alignment when you're done with the install.

Drop springs aren't particularly difficult to install, but you will definitely need to get a professional alignment afterwards. As long as you're mechanically inclined and have the proper tools it's not hard. Just make sure you've got a spring compressor or can rent one from your local Autozone to ensure safe dissasembly of your stock shock.
