Definitely good info, thanks for the heads up. I still have quite a ways to go until 15,000, but now I can start saving ahead of time so that it isn't such a shock when I get there.

Your husband is right.

I've been buying new cars since 1980 and never take my cars in for service except oil changes, and sometimes I do that myself.
I do my own lubricant changes (transmission, differentials, etc.) every 50k miles.
I always get FREE tire rotations at the Goodyear or Firestone dealer (whatever came on the vehicle originally). With this new camaro, the Pirelli's can't be rotated, so I won't even worry about that.

Full synthetic Pennzoil, 6 qts..$27. Filter $7. 5 minutes time doing it yourself. Yes, 5 minutes. And they are charging how much?
