There are pictures from the crash scene posted by the local fire company that responded.

So - give us an update on how you're doing - I know you had some stitches and I'm certain you've got some bruising.......what does the Doctor say?
We're just glad you're relatively OK after such a violent collision!

Be glad you weren't driving a Pinto!!! It sure is nice knowing that the Camaro can take that kind of hit and not explode. Was there any danger in the fuel tank rupturing?

Wow, that it is amazing that you are still here with us. Someone upstairs was definitely looking out for you along with all the great people at GM that designed and built our Camaro's.

Unreal. Glad your ok. As a parent though who does use my Camaro to transport my 2 girls home from school a few times per week those pics are making me think twice about it. God knows that was a massive hit by a massive vehicle. But, those massive vehicles are pretty common around here. I can't tell but from those pics it "appears" as though part of the rear deck lid went through the rear window and into the cabin. Right where one of my daughters heads would be in her car seat.
Any idea how far the interior back seat moved forward? I'm really looking at those pictures thinking what if that was mine with my 2 girls in the backseat. |

They took the staples out on Friday, my head is healing well. The bumps and bruises are going away. My neck and back are stiff with some pain (of course) and I am starting treatment tommorow to try to get them loose.
I miss my supercharged SS. It was a member of our family. Thank You again for everyone's kind words. |
