+1 Yeah, I have over that in mileage on mine now. Guess I need to get the old owner's manual out & do some more reading.

I don't think the manual says anything but tire rotation and oil. I don't see a maintenance schedule in my book. This was a list the dealer had for it. It was the 2nd tire rotation and 3rd oil change.

My prices:

Tire rotation 19's all the way around and relearn tps $39.99
-6 pack

Air induction service throttle body and engine intake $149.95
Umm, I guess a 6-pack, as it is probably just a quick wipe down of the throttle body.

Fuel injection service $129.95
I'll give you this one at cost: buy a bottle of fi cleaner and dump it in you tank. Or but it and give me a 6-pack to do so.

Synthetic oil change. $70.00
$50 for 10 qts of m1, if you got the ls3, we'll use 8 and you keep the rest, v6 is even better. Figure $7 for the filter, and $5 for a magnetic daring plug from advance auto.
...and a 6 pack for labor

My total came to $399, just seeing what you guys are paying.
Come see me and it'll cost you less than $100 plus a case or so of beer

I recently changed from 10 yrs of Corvette ownership(2001,2003.2006) to the Camaro. Except for routine oil changes at at 30-35% level or 1 yr which ever came first (usually the 1 yr), I never took the car in for any scheduled maintanance. Only when something under warranty or a TSB needed attention. I hope the Camaro follows the dependablity I have had in the past.

sounds like a rip-off except for the oil change... and I'd just do that myself if I could.. the injector and intake thing is bs...

I agree, but the cost for the rotation is awfully high. Remember that relearning the tpms is a simple procedure that is in your manual

Rip off, nothing more than regular oil changes are needed at this kind of milage. I am at 18k at the moment, about to do oil change #4, will start looking at more extensive maintenance down the road (if I still have the car at that point).

Yes the other stuff is not needed at all, just a way for the dealer to make a bunch of money for little work. Rotation and oil change are all that's needed, and a once over of the other mechanicals of the car. First thing you should possibly think about other than those are a tranny and rear end drain and fill at 30K if you drive hard.

Maybe I should clarify, I am not looking for whether this needed to be done or if you could do it in your garage I am seeing if this is the going rate for the services at a shop.
