Question Service stibilitrack??

I've noticed a few times this past week when I start my car up I'll get a message in the center screen between the spedo and the tach (DIC?) ...idk what its called.. with a wrench and the message service stibilitrack underneath it. It does not happen every time I start my car up so I'm kind of confused. Can anyone tell me what is going on? Should I be concerned?

Thanks.

Mine was doing that for awhile. Realized the positive terminal on my battery had gotten loose. No issue after tightening it. Search and you should find more people with the same issue but no solution as of yet.

I've had the same issue for a couple months now. Only happens so often.

I have had the same thing for about 2 months or so. Only happens from time to time and no fix as of yet. It doesn't stay on long enough for me to take it into the dealer to look at it. I know if I take it in, they won't be able to repeat what it is doing and it will be a waste of my time to take it in.

There are number of different things this could be. In my case the dealer diagnosed it as a bad steering wheel angle sensor. They replaced it and all is well now.

just hold the key a little longer in the start-position and the message will not appear

see the TSB: www.camaro5.de/stabilitrak.pdf

No worries. That's what a warranty is for.
