SunPass / EasyPass Window Mount (Do or Don't)
I had to get on the toll road yesterday and realized what a pain, it was, to stop at the toll booths. I went and bought my window mount SunPass transponder yesterday. I was going to stick it to go ahead and attach it to the wind shield, but started to second guess it.
Has anyone stuck one of the transponders to the wind shield yet? If so any unforeseen issues I haven't thought about yet? |

Do you have a pic? I have the Sunpass which has 3 suction cups on it!! I put it right next to the rearview mirror!! No problems!!

Keep mine in the glove box. Through it on the dash when needed.
However it sounds like you have the thinner sticky type; that sticks to the wing shield. If it was mine, I would not stick it to the wind shield. Just my opion.

I attached my EasyPass to my windshield. It's stuck on the black/tinted box in the top middle of the windshield. Works just fine.

I stick mine to my window. I also have the Mini. It's much easy than having to pull it out of the glove box while driving up to a toll booth.

Stick it on. This isn't a one off Lamborghini museum piece. It's an every mans Camaro. We tend to take these things way way overboard. Mine is on the windshield works perfect and i never have to deal with again. You need it removed later. Simply peel it off and remove residue. Not like it's going to break the car or somehow diminish it's value.

I have the suction cup version of the Unconstitutional Double-Taxation Pass, but I leave it on the floor. Then, when I travel through a toll, I just hold it up under the mirror and it works. No suction cup marks and nothing in the windshield...

I have the mini, and put it on the windshield about 3 hrs after driving away from dealer...lol Its only a sticker...

If you have the decal style and you want to be able to move it from car to car apply the decal sun pass to a small piece of clear plexiglas your problem is solved so you don't need to stick it to your window.
