Ground FX painting cost
Mod's you can move this if it's in the wrong place.
My Ground FX came in today!!!! They want $780.00 to paint them to match my car. Is this reasonable? Sounds high to me! |

My dealer originally quoted a price of $550 and I told them I had a quote for $380 (which was true) He called back and we agreed of a price of $400. Do not pay $780 because that is way over priced. Call some other GM dealers in your area and get a quote.

i would get some quotes from other places and then tell the dealer to match if they want ur business

Might cost more if you are getting certain parts masked off? I am getting the rear diffuser part masked so it stays Dark Argent, and they said that would cost a bit more.

I'd say $500.00 is about right. We do a lot of custom painting and cannot imagine charging more than $500.00 for that. Good luck!

Geesss guys....You only get a crazy high price if they really dont want to do the job. If you say "yes" to the really high price they just farm it out and keep the difference. ....and hope there is no problem.
Oh but your dealer may still be on crack. LOL
