Does the Tremec 6060 already have problems?

I have been reading from the corvette forums saying that some people are unhappy with there TR6060 in there 2008+ corvette TR6060 because TR6060 grinds 2nd and 3rd when cold and sometime from 1st to 2nd too. Had anyone else hear of this problem or has a 2008+ corvette? I hope GM will fix this problem before it fitted to our camaros! (assuming they are the same)

They are in the stang, and the Chally as well, I think

But everyone is going to have different stock gear ratios, Chrysler is going to stick with the 3.92 ratio from the 5-speed

I think the T6060 is the least of our problems...

A respected member on GMInsidenews.com explained how the new Zeta IRS uses an aluminum center section (in truth, I don't know where this part is located) and that it will be as fragile as the IRS in the GTO :(

I can tell you exactly where the problem is for those vette guys... the problem is between the steering wheel and the seat, learn to be alittle smoother with the shifts, clutch alittle sooner also helps and the problem will be gone. timing is everything

I know these transmissions are not even close to related, however, I have a VW passat does the same thing. It grinds a little if I rush the shift in 30 degree weather first to second. Once I get to the end of the street though, no issues. I don't know why, maybe the fluid needs to warm up.

My dad has an '07 vette. He has no issues, of course I have not driven in colder weather to compare, but it shifts 10 times better than his 2001. Absolutley no comparison.
