WTB DiabloSport Trinity or Predator

well, you can get the trinity for $599, and comes with everything you need for tuning your car, and hooking it up to your pc to update it, download logs, import/export tune files, etc etc...

or you can get the predator for about $300, but then also need to buy the pc interface kit for about $35 which has the usb/serial cable and power adapter you need in order to hook it up to your PC....

the trinity has more features, more memory, and better/faster sampling rate for logging than the predator does...

so, basically, it's up to you which one you want, or what kind of money you want to spend...

I just bought a trinity, and I would be upset if a newer cooler model was coming out to replace it!

to the OP: the trinity is freakin sweet. I just did a bunch of 0-60 tests with mine. It has ALOT of features.

worth $200? Honestly, It's your opinion.

You can get a predator for $300.
You can get an iphone accelerometer app for like $15
You can get a scanner for ???

I like the trinity because it has the 0-60mph accel tool, a code scanner, a scan tool for engine parameters, and a tuner.

I will never use the 0-100mph tool, nor will use the 1/4 mile tool. I can't get caught driving that fast on public roads without losing my job.

I don't have an OBD II code scanner, and I don't have a tool that can scan engine parameters, so it was worth it to me to get an all in one tool.

I have a trinity and I am very happy I got it over the Predator.

ZZMotorsports got me a good deal on a SLP tuned Diablo Sport II but you can say I am paying about 100 dollars extra than a regular diablo just to get SLP's custom header x pipe tune.

you could have bought the normal diablosport programmer, and had the admins at diablosport send you the diablo tune with the cat codes and rear o2 codes deleted, which is all the SLP programmer will do for you! or you can spend $78 for a custom ******* Tune (read about it on the diablosport forums) and get a fully custom tune that is better than the canned ones!

I got my Diablo from Jannetty...

soon as I get my headers on and send him my log files I get a free custom tune...

Oh... for the OP... buy the Trinity. Touchscreen and windshield mount... The fun stuff is in the drag timing...
