I am planning to do the cdo and the oct 30 meeting (I will be ditching a work event so shhh!).

Sean can you post the diner info in the front page? I had to go through 5 pages to get all the info.

I will be at the Oct 30th meet and I will definitely be attending camaro5fest II for sure. Not to sure about the other events but I will get with you guys if I can make it.

Sean if you are going to do the install on the shifter let me know. I purchased an MGW shifter just need to install it, I've been slacking off a little bit.

Sean,

I'm a little surprised you went with the Hurst shifter. I have been seeing a lot of comments on how it vibrates pretty bad when in gear.

I personally went with the Bartons Short throw shifter, stock look. I maintained the shift handle and the leather boot, But they have a wide veriety of options.

Anyways, I hope the install and the feel of it is what you expect and have fun with it. You will notice that you will have to get use to the different throw, and may squack the tires the first few times.

I read that too, but it was only one guy, I think it was a bad install, I liked the look better. I don't like the stock look, plus I had the hurst as a option when I first ordered my car, and took it off when it was holding up the production.

i was thinking of a short shifter too. leaning towards mgw. the biggest thing is i have never owned/driven a vehicle that has a short shifter so maybe i want to get a feel first before buying.

you can check out Blueme and mine, we can setup a Saturady or Sunday, the after this weekend the next two Saturdays are booked.

Everyone,
Super Chevy Show in Phoenix, and Sierra Vista Run. I think I am able to get two Tickets and a Parking pass for the Super Chevy Show next weekend, since I am already entered into the show it's self, PM me if anyone is interested in going but not entering the show.

Also remember the CDO Car Show in Tucson is coming up too, Nov 6th, PM me for more information.

FYI,
Ther is a older Car Show at the Octopus Car Wash on Velencia Nov 13th 11:00am - 3:00pm to benifit The American Cancer Society. Registration Fee is $10.00, first Forty vehicles 1979 and older. They have had many shows there in the past, check out the old school cars.
